Dr. Leah Murphy is a Pennsylvania Licensed Psychologist with 17 years' experience working with children, teens, parents and families. She implements cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal and family systems approaches to overcome and manage anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, ADHD, level 1 autism, and eating disorders. Dr. Murphy incorporates collaborative practice in her work and actively consults with the child's school personnel, pediatrician and any other professional to establish strategies and interventions in support of treatment. Dr. Murphy facilitates social skills and anxiety support groups for children ages 4-18 years, as well as parenting groups. Dr. Murphy also facilitates a transitional group for children who experience anxiety returning to school after summer break.
During her free time, Dr. Murphy enjoys hiking, gardening, camping, the beach and mystery novels.
